 Restylane Dermal Filler

At Breathe Spa, we use Restylane dermal filler to restore skin contours to make you look more youthful. This dermal filler is an injectable clear gel of hyaluronic acid, a substance that is naturally found in the body. It attracts and binds water molecules to the treated area, adding more volume to your skin.

How it Works

Our experienced doctor will cleanse and prepare the area for treatment. With an ultra-fine needle, the clear Restylane gel will be injected to the treatment area(s) for the desired outcome. The procedure typically takes less than an hour.

Pre-Treatment Guidelines

Do not use aspirin, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medications (such as ibuprofen), St. John’s wort, or high doses of vitamin E supplements. These may increase bruising and bleeding at the treated area. If you previously have facial cold sores, consult with your doctor.

Restylane is not suitable for you if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or under 18 years old.

Treatment Plan & Results

The results are immediate and long lasting, depending on the area treated and the product used.

Swelling, redness, pain, itching, discolouration and tenderness may occur for up to two weeks; use cold compresses as needed. Avoid touching the treated area for the first 6 hours after treatment while the skin is numb. After 6 hours, you may gently wash the area with soap and water.
